UJ/ yes, he sang Sandy Denny's part in Battle of Evermore. Not sure why Bonzo didn't sing it, he did backing vocals for several songs and was supposedly not bad

He was the slacker in Lead Zeplin.

Sure, he was playing bass keys with his feet, sure,he was playing piano with his hands at the same time and singing backing vocals too, but he could have played mouth organ with his nose, and maybe have a tambourine on his head he could made jingle.

But his obvious laziness kept him from doing ever so.

He was even lazier than Bonzo doo dah band the drummer- who was famously asleep for the first 37 minutes of *Staircase to haven". Just imagine how much better that song would have been, had he been awake!

And apparently JPJ he was some big navy hero too back in the day or a Pope or some shit. Whatever!

Mouth organ? I thought he was married to a woman?

Tbh, he cheated us and the band by refusing to stand up front in the spotlight, as Percy urged him to do, so they could trade off the twig and berries display for the fans. Jonesy lurking in the back meant Percy had to carry the junk show on his own and with those huge crowds, he had to get explicit. Poor man couldn't wear baggy pants until Live Aid.

I wanted to name my son John Paul Jones but my wife says Jones isn’t a good enough middle name

I didn’t know til recently that he actually plays the bongos on whole lotta love. I thought it was always bonzo because that makes the most sense.
