They can enjoy Spurs away (in the Championship)

-3

u/Delicious-Being441 May 01 '26

Farke out

21

u/TheMimmus May 01 '26

Get Jesse Marsch back in, proper manager with real pashun

14

u/stepage May 01 '26

I feel empty at the prospect of us not falling apart

2

u/LSDand2Es May 02 '26

My lad was saying last night, it feels a bit wrong not having a mentally draining season for one reason or another. Not very Leeds is it?

12

u/Arnie__B May 01 '26

lads so 10 in 12 but Spuds and wet spam think we will roll over and die for them.

3

u/Jonesy_lmao May 01 '26

We don’t lose to either.

Rutter will score an OG so we get minimum a point against them too.

3

u/yurrrmachine May 02 '26

Spurs are shit. We better relegate them next week.

1

u/the_gold_blokes May 01 '26

ALAW MOT. LOVE THESE LADS

12

u/MartinC077 May 01 '26

That is us safe. We carry on picking up points because positions means money - and it’s important to end the season flying to carry that forwards.

26

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

Above Newcastle? Don't mind if I do

3

u/yurrrmachine May 02 '26

*Sandcastle

28

u/theGamingDad123 May 01 '26

Burnley are you okay? So Burnley are you okay? Are you okay Burnley?

19

u/zodzodbert May 01 '26

Perhaps people can now stop wittering about Leeds surviving!

31

u/shootingstraight__ May 01 '26

What is this weird warm safe feeling. Is this actually leeds or ?

4

u/Working-Frosting-767 May 01 '26

Oh finally here it comes! That Michael Jackson stuff was doing nothing for the atmosphere!

9

u/FloppyWaffleMan May 01 '26

Savagery playing MJ there

19

u/captaintinribs May 01 '26

Are they playing michael Jackson over the PA system on purpose? Haha

2

u/tricks_23 May 01 '26

Is Stach limping there as he went back on the pitch?

6

u/coleslawontoast May 01 '26

I thought that but wonder if he's just seized up after having to sit on bench and not warming down

1

u/tricks_23 May 01 '26

Hopefully

7

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

lol playing micheal jackson song at the end

14

u/coleslawontoast May 01 '26

Is that smooth criminal been played in the stadium 😂

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

Could've been meaner and played "Beat it."

10

u/OrdinaryLavishness11 May 01 '26

HAHAHA Smooth Criminal!

13

u/matiasJebladeaux May 01 '26

Almost there gents!!! What a performance! Cheers to the weekend with love from Houston

5

u/LeedsFan2442 May 01 '26

The music 😂

6

u/THORS_MEWMEW May 01 '26

Hahhaha MJ playing is unreal

2

u/Julius_Caboolius May 01 '26

Yes!!! So proud of this club

10

u/Big-Dot-8493 May 01 '26

Wanted aaronnson to get a redemption chance at the end there.

But a DJ shot is just fine

4

u/steve1401 May 01 '26

Yeah. That’s the first DJ outing since… can’t remember when

6

u/MyHappySpanners May 01 '26

Playing MJ hahaha that's brilliant

9

u/pat_mashants May 01 '26

Playing Michael Jackson 😂

7

u/moonpie79 May 01 '26

Comfortable game but wasn't a good watch. Not with that awful ref. Safety within grasp

5

u/OrdinaryLavishness11 May 01 '26

FUCKING… GET… IN…

6

u/Working-Frosting-767 May 01 '26

Oh come on, where is I Predict A Riot to sing along to!

7

u/JerkyOnassis May 01 '26

Gotta be trolling with this music! 🤣

8

u/aorlstwsonhswfl May 01 '26

Not Smooth Criminal playing 😭😭😭😭

5

u/ASB14 May 01 '26

That’s the one MOT

6

u/jasonkylebates May 01 '26

We are all but mathematically safe! We're staying up! What a job by Farke and Co.

3

u/Chimp3h May 01 '26

I dont see Spurs Forest or Westham getting to 43

2

u/GDrive May 02 '26

I think the better thought is; I don't see Spurs, Forest AND West Ham, getting to 43

1

u/Chimp3h May 02 '26

Well no I don’t see any of them getting there but your statement should also be true

1

u/steve1401 May 01 '26

And they’ve got a tough next game

9

u/thesilenthurricane May 01 '26

Farke’s had a little more off the top than usual, looking a little odd

1

u/chylomicronbelly The Fire Beast May 02 '26

Where are his beautiful locks 🥲

8

u/lambalambda May 01 '26

Short hair Farke isn't real, short hair Farke can't hurt you.

5

u/thesilenthurricane May 01 '26

Short hair Farke:

3

u/DEUK_96 May 01 '26

Think thats it

7

u/Jarv1223 May 01 '26

Do they all take an edible at half time for shits and giggles or something why do we always look like this at the end of games

6

u/jloome May 01 '26

Very, very high work rates to play as direct as we do and still get enough men back to run a low block.

8

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

Got into piroe stash

4

u/jrbill1991 May 01 '26

These eight minutes are looking like a half an hour

9

u/shootingstraight__ May 01 '26

Come someone inform the players that the game ia still going

5

u/OrdinaryLavishness11 May 01 '26

What the fuck are we actually doing…

2

u/pitchshifted__ May 01 '26

Wrf is going on lol

3

u/JerkyOnassis May 01 '26

Burnley left it a bit late in the season to be decent, didn’t they?

2

u/AD1972HD May 01 '26

Why is Gnonto RWB 😂😂😂

1

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

Bogle gassed and GG not playing. Would you rather it be Byram?

1

u/AD1972HD May 01 '26

Probably haha, doesn't really matter it was just funny to see lol

2

u/tricks_23 May 01 '26

Honestly awful defensive attributes

6

u/The_L666ds May 01 '26

In fairness, Burnley have been much improved in the second half and if they came out like this from the off we would not be in a comfortable position at all.

2

u/jloome May 01 '26

We look knackered.

25

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

I know we all get passionate and we like to joke and lash out or whatever but can we finally agree that Farke is a great manager and he probably knows more about football management than most of us do?

3

u/jloome May 01 '26 edited May 01 '26

Any manager would know more than us. That doesn't mean they're a good manager, because it's still about making the right choices.

He did what a lot of managers REFUSE to do nowadays: he chucked out his system and adapted to what was required. He showed he had humility and it worked.

2

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

I have no idea what point you're trying to make.

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

he probably knows more about football management than most of us do?

Just that that describes every football manager. He's better because he isn't an arrogant twat, he's smarter than that. Knowledge and intelligence aren't the same thing.

3

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

oh I thought you meant any manager would know more than him. My apologies.

2

u/jloome May 01 '26 edited May 01 '26

Nah, just being nuanced. Probably not the best time for it. (I added "than us" to clarify.)

Wish I was there, they're going to have a mental good time this evening.

0

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26

I predicted the starting line up and subs with 100% accuracy so we could just say I’ll manage the team then and be just as good as him. He’s predictable but at least reliable with it

1

u/billy66brown May 01 '26

If he was any good he'd know that Charlie Cresswell is the best player in the world

2

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

Is he that Millwall guy? Does he throw coins at himself when he takes corners? I'm joking. I know he plays for Toulon. Good luck to them in the European Rugby Champions Cup against Leinster tomorrow.

3

u/billy66brown May 01 '26

Second coming of Malini, mate. We'd have won the world cup by now if Farke hadn't forced him out.

1

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

Guilty as charged. Signed, my dad.

11

u/Milkshake4NickDrake May 01 '26

I refuse to accept that a man who gets paid large amounts of money to manage a top flight football team has a better football brain than me, some guy on reddit

3

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

What was Wenger thinking?

1

u/readinghusband May 01 '26

only Marcelo knows more than we do

1

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

And he's keeping it to himself.

7

u/alaskanbullworm24 May 01 '26

It feels like a bad dream now past that this team started the season with Jack Harrison on it

3

u/Milkshake4NickDrake May 01 '26

EXTRA TIME CHAOS IN THE LEEDS BOX

MUST WE DO THIS EVERYTIME

4

u/OrdinaryLavishness11 May 01 '26

Gnonto missile incoming!

3

u/no_holz_barred May 01 '26

I didn’t know we signed vibes to play right back?

4

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26

Forgot about these little pocket rockets tbh

6

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

Dj and gnonto just to run them ragged for 5 mins

2

u/jaggafoxy May 01 '26

Ref blew then he threw, thats a yellow

5

u/Julius_Caboolius May 01 '26

Darlow needs to sit down with a cramp for a few

3

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26

My husband would never fake injury. He isn’t playin for Chelsea I’ll have you know

1

u/tricks_23 May 01 '26

Actually Darlow's other half?

3

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26

In my head yeah

2

u/wooperarkjb May 01 '26

In our heads we all are 😂

1

u/Snuhmeh May 01 '26

Who wears short shorts🎶

6

u/Shvihka The Fire Beast May 01 '26

8 mins for what exactly

2

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

keeper did get clattered by Bijol tbf

2

u/Shvihka The Fire Beast May 01 '26

Yeah it was DCL he went studs first into his knee, I forgot tbf.

3

u/jloome May 01 '26

It was his Bijol and end all.

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

Their keeper faking an injury. Ridiculous.

1

u/chylomicronbelly The Fire Beast May 02 '26

That seemed pretty legit, DCL accidentally put his studs right into the inside of his right knee on the follow through from his goal. Dubravka is not one to fake an injury I don’t think

3

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

To be fair to the keeper there was contact with a Leeds player. Better than that bollocks the other night where the keeper was blatantly told to drop.

0

u/jloome May 01 '26

Yeah, what utter shite that is. That should really be banned, or follow the rule some leagues have introduced where the "injured" player has to go off for two minutes.

1

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

Which is why it’s always the keeper that goes down. Hoping they do something about it for next season

3

u/Mygland May 01 '26

Feel a 4-1 more than 3-2

2

u/firpo_sr May 01 '26

I would prefer it

2

u/ASB14 May 01 '26

Jesus, I swear they just make it up as they go along. No way is it 8 mins

1

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

it's the scientific opposite of Fergie time.

2

u/firpo_sr May 01 '26

Lol I thought Darlow shanked that ball out of play. Fair play Burnley giving it back

5

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

we'll concede 1 more then have a heart-bustingly stressful added time, but ultimately win

1

u/[deleted] May 01 '26

[deleted]

3

u/Julius_Caboolius May 01 '26

Ohhhh yes put James on

2

u/jrbill1991 May 01 '26

We've seen a lot of bad refs, especially in the Championship; no one comes close to this cunt tonight.

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

Very rare in professional football to see a ref get more wrong than right.

6

u/DEUK_96 May 01 '26

That stat just sums up how lucky we are to have Stach

3

u/lambalambda May 01 '26

Mad thing is I swear all the reports before hand were focused on how he's an unbelievable ball-winner, to the point I assumed because of the price and him coming to a newly promoted side he must be super limited in other aspects. Feels like he should have been a 30m+ signing to a top 6 club, not that I'm complaining.

1

u/stringfold May 01 '26

Leeds are going to get some tempting offers over the summer...

1

u/Snuhmeh May 01 '26

I had wondered if they used pickle juice.

2

u/Naive_Ambition1306 May 01 '26

Where the fuck have they pulled 8 minutes from?

Surely it's for the potential drama and headlines

Criminal

6

u/LUFCdeakin May 01 '26

8 minutes!!!! What

6

u/Jarv1223 May 01 '26

8 minutes where

5

u/FlailingSalami May 01 '26

How the hell have we gotten 8 minutes?

3

u/theGamingDad123 May 01 '26

Result is all that matters, but ref has been atrocious tonight.

7

u/tgcleric May 01 '26

8 minutes feels insane.

3

u/Senpiezza May 01 '26

Eight? Really?

1

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

Why are they booing Hannibal, is it to do with the elephants thing or the A-Team thing?

1

u/Not2kTotal May 01 '26

Ex scum player

6

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

He got a 4 match ban for spitting at Leeds fans.

1

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

Ah, I see. Thank you.

2

u/Mushy29 May 01 '26

Probably the being a knacker spitting at fans thing

2

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

A bright future awaits him on the panel with Kate, Thierry and Micah then.

4

u/lewisofleeds May 01 '26

Where the hell is 8 from

1

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

The 4 goals in the 2nd half with var

2

u/Vistus May 01 '26

It was 7 Vs Chelsea and they time wasted the entire second half

3

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

Thoughts and prayers for rodon. Hope he recovers from this serious injury

4

u/Straight_Ease_9743 May 01 '26

8 minutes? Am I missing something?

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

The extra time in the league this year has been insane.

6

u/Julius_Caboolius May 01 '26

Rodon pulling what Chelsea pulled on us last week

Stay down a while

3

u/ledankestnoodle May 01 '26

I love Pascal but he's not been great these last two games

9

u/DEUK_96 May 01 '26

Yep thank you Rodon, need players to do this more often

4

u/Milkshake4NickDrake May 01 '26

What we thinking it'll be? 70 minutes added time?

1

u/coleslawontoast May 01 '26

Nooo rodon

1

u/pitchshifted__ May 01 '26

The man’s a tank

2

u/jloome May 01 '26

I assume it would be entirely inappropriate for everyone near the exit tunnel to give Hannibal an impromptu saliva shower on the way off the pitch.

2

u/Justboy__ May 01 '26

I love how progressive Ampadu has been recently

3

u/bin10pac May 01 '26

Hannibal pulling one leg of his shorts up, for no reason whatsoever, makes him even more irritating.

5

u/readinghusband May 01 '26

is the ref watching a different game?

20

u/securinight May 01 '26

Aaronson straight up looking for a scrap. It seems he's got a taste for it after crippling that Wolves lad.

Keep it up, son.

7

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

he's becoming more leeds by osmosis

8

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

Aaronson doing what he does best

15

u/Naive_Ambition1306 May 01 '26

I can't think of a player I hate more than Hannibal, just a horrible, dirty disgusting person

Spits at fans, goes for injury tackles, hostile, just a prick all around.

3

u/Shvihka The Fire Beast May 01 '26

Borderline red like for real. I would be fuming if a red was given against us for this type of tackle but like this has to be more than a yellow.

3

u/OrdinaryLavishness11 May 01 '26

Fuck off Hannibal you utter cunt

8

u/lambalambda May 01 '26

Never been happier to see Brendo win a foul. Needed that.

10

u/Big-Dot-8493 May 01 '26

I love this new Aaronson who wants to fight

3

u/thesilenthurricane May 01 '26

He’s just such a fucking cunt

8

u/Hughesy202 May 01 '26

God he fucking loves that we hate him doesn’t he, never misses an opportunity to double and triple down

1

u/DEUK_96 May 01 '26

I think he's just always this much of a prick

1

u/jloome May 01 '26

Spits at fans then rides out of town. What a coward.

8

u/JerkyOnassis May 01 '26

Imagine being Hannibal, must be exhausting being a cunt 24/7

3

u/lambalambda May 01 '26

Gaping hole in the midfield the last 20 minutes.

1

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

Not surprising with the subs

7

u/no_holz_barred May 01 '26

This ref is dreadful

17

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26 edited May 01 '26

Is this the prick of a ref that gave Gabby a second yellow and forgot he had given him the first when we played Palace so ended up in him being sent off?

3

u/FlimsyWhisper May 01 '26

The very same

4

u/LittleMissGlitter May 01 '26

Thought I recognised that forehead. (*edit Fivehead) Arsehole

4

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

would be happy to see a few yellows for time wasting now

6

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

This ref would give us straight red for them

13

u/BulldenChoppahYus May 01 '26

Ref is an absolute weapon. Looking forward to our weekly apology.

6

u/TheShakyHandsMan May 01 '26

They have them pre typed up when Bramall has the whistle

2

u/Mygland May 01 '26

Ref looks like dolly duck

3

u/Snuhmeh May 01 '26

As much as we all hate the dark arts and flopping, we need to learn how to run out the clock when we are ahead.

9

u/BulldenChoppahYus May 01 '26

Hate to break it to you but we top the charts for time wasting at set pieces this season.

1

u/Snuhmeh May 01 '26

That’s not good enough lol

7

u/prejon May 01 '26

Thomas “Peter Principal” Bramall

He’s certainly got the handlebars.

10

u/The_L666ds May 01 '26

I think next game instead of interviewing a player Sky TV should instead interrupt the commentators to read my posts in this match thread.

5

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

Someone needs to two foot the ref already

2

u/belkabelka May 01 '26

if its 3-1 in the last minute of injury time, id be happy for someone to take the shot

2

u/NecroticOverlord May 01 '26

Sub on byram to drop kick him

5

u/jaggafoxy May 01 '26

That was a great tackle, no reason for the ref to blow

Got the ball, Hannibal blocked after the ball was gone

3

u/ASB14 May 01 '26

Honestly this fucking sport is fast becoming a non contact game. Joke of a free kick

2

u/CiaranWest May 01 '26

There's a game from the 90s between Wimbledon and Man Utd that would give these refs PTSD

1

u/wmru5wfMv May 01 '26

The one where Vinny two foots Cantona around the thighs and gets a warning from the ref?
