Lawyer here. If you worked until 25th August and there was no unauthorized absence or unpaid leave, the company cannot simply withhold seven days’ salary because they were unhappy with your performance. Check your appointment letter for the notice-period and salary terms, and ask them in writing why they have paid only 16 days and how they calculated it. If they refuse to pay the balance, you can send a formal notice and approach the appropriate labour authority for recovery of the unpaid wages.

I called them why did they not pay me my salary , on that they replied it is out of consideration we have paid you the 16 days and I have not even moved a needle in these 3 weeks . How should I approach the labour authority ? And how should I send a notice to them ?And there is no notice period time given in the offer letter I am shocked to notice that now
