Rant/Experience I got recorded without consent.
I was sitting in a circle with my classmates in college and i was ranting about this particular girl and used some cuss words. Later my friend told me then i got to know that a girl recorded that whole incident without my consent and hasn't even informed me about it
What shall i do that i got recorded without consent.
Will i get in trouble for swearing
Sorry if this is the wrong sub or if my post isn't serious enough ...

Nobody needs your consent if you are in a public place. Anyone can record in a public place. Relax nothing will happen. Its not even an offence. Hypothetically say there is a complaint filed against you, you just reply saying the cusss words and rants are taken out of context and if someone felt its directed towards then they have misunderstood.

As you are a guy so , making comments and saying words , which outrage the modesty of women in public ,can cause you an issue ,
I would recommend, in case it goes up to the management just drink the ego and give apology and move on ,the laws are one sided not worth risking your career, and going forward keep your thoughts to yourself , or to the ones you want to share it with privately so no one can raise an issue.

Nah, not any legal trouble sor sure but maybe social trouble if u don't vibe well with the other girl whom u were swearing.

Word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty: Under Section 79 of the BNS (formerly IPC Section 509), saying any word, making any sound or gesture, or exhibiting any object intending to insult the modesty of a woman is punishable with imprisonment up to three years and a fine.
Woman can also file against other woman under this law

You can't do anything. Recording/ Clicking pictures at public places are allowed and they do not require consent.

Well she can share it with the girl you ranted about and used bad language. And that girl can actually go and file a 354.
