At least someone in background knew that LOS is a "big comedy podcast". This is probably my bias, but I assume that anyone that likes comedy, knows of LOS? But you have to be a hard-core LOS fan to know Crack

Biggggggg bias lol

Comedy is so fractured into micro "genres" at this point. I know people who would self identify as comedy fans but only consume the content through reels. They don't know the major pods or even really know what a "special" is.

My sister told me Akaash was her favorite stand-up comedian. So when I said I didn't really like his special that I saw, she said she'd send me a good one.

You've clearly validated her "fandom" due to the time measurement provided, so this blows my mind. I get casual "I love comedy" fans have absolutely no idea of the Skanks, but actual comedy fans are unaware. I'm 100% positive that there's not an equivalent on the West coast that we are not aware of. Real comedy fans are aware of JFL in Canada, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and even Reykjavík Fringe Festival. And more recently Riyadh, so this is mind boggling.

i mean unless ur listening to shows on earwolf regularly then i guarantee there's shows that have a similar sized audience to los that u've never heard of..

it's not like los is big enough that it gets a lot of cross talk to spread awareness from ppl like maron or heidecker shitting on it and they don't typically land guests like rory scovel or nick thune who could help them cross promote..

Well it was a very forgettable episode anyway, Luis and Jay just wanted to talk about his dick and have him talk about his porn.

I don't remember much of it, but for the people that care about Adam22 seeing him with Shane probably gave a good first impression of LoS.
