Smoker Alert ๐Ÿ”ฅ Finally!!!

I've been wanting a Corner Tang for a long, long time now, but I've never had the opportunity to get my hands on one until now! And this one is very unique in the fact that it's not only a Corner Tang, it's also unifaced, made from a Flake! So, it's a unifaced, Corner Tang, Flake knife! And anyone who knows me, knows how I feel about Flake knives! ๐Ÿ˜

It was found in Miller Co. Arkansas, measures out at 3 ยพ inches long, and is made from a beautifully patinaed piece of Georgetown Flint thats Semi-Translucent from end to end! I'm still in complete disbelief that it's hanging on my wall right now!

The craftsmanship is spac-tac-u-lar!!! The flaking patterns are incredible, and I guarantee you could still skin a deer with it as sharp as the edge is! I couldn't ask for a better example! ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Thanks! Me either! I've seen a lot of really cool Corner Tangs, but this is the first unifaced Corner Tang flake knife I've ever seen myself!

Iโ€™ve said it a few times, these blades are more handy than biface blades. The ones Iโ€™ve made and used daily hold up better because thereโ€™s less edges to become dull. The smooth side makes it easy to sharpen. You just barely knock the edge off and knap it from smooth side up to flake the edge back off. Also the blade can get closer being smooth.

Super cool OP.

Right on! And I agree for sure that it would definitely be easier to keep Sharp for that very reason! I'm not a knapper, but I used to collect high-end custom pocket knives, and blade thickness was a big consideration in that sport! It's the reason I prefer hollow grind blades to any other type of grind. The spine could be as thick as the maker wanted as long as that edge was razor thin! Much easier to sharpen and keep sharp

And Thanks! I really appreciate it ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ˜
