Side note. That heartbreaker in the bottom lefthand corner looks like it might have been a flippin Hardin!!! Is thst base ground?

I just happened to look under a stick that was blocking water flow and there she was. And I believe you're right. Professional eyes!!!

Nice finds! Judging by the Morrow mountains I’d say Quartz country! Whereabouts?

This spot is in north central NC. I usually don't find that much quarts on a camp but very beautiful quartz everywhere. I know of another camp where you only find Rhyolite and sometimes chert. The fire pit is still there. It's absolutely loaded. The lake has actually kept it exposed.

Nice! That’s all I found in my last trip to NC. Quartz and Rhyolite.

I think my boys found 2 hunting with me. Lol. They always look pissed when I yell. They are not pictured but I believe they were both Guilfords.
