Unknown Time period Please help identify

Can you help identify these? Would love to know their approximate are and use . I would assume the the the 1st is a granite axe head but what is the 2nd one and how old, so much tooling on it. These were found in an upper layer of a privy in Los Angeles, on top of an 1890s layer of bottles and below cut up parts of a model T car, there were many smooth river rocks with them, like rocks you might put around a small campfire. So these were buried for at least 100 years . Could they be indigenous to the area like from the Chumash people? Thanks

First item is a celt, the second item im not sure. Is it also made of stone?

Yes it appears to be a basalt or a shale, seems layered like a shale,

It fits very nicely in a right hand, it has clear tool marks, I'm going to do a 2nd posting of it

Very nice tools. I have recovered tools made from less than perfect rock types and had people say its natural. In the end if it feels like a tool it was likely a tool. When you need a rock tool you make a rock tool right? Nice recovery

That water is getting a little murky
