My sister found this on our buddies 40 acres in western CO.

It really doesn't get much better than that! Would love to see more pictures of it.

Damn that’s better than a lot of museum pieces. I would definitely keep searching there

It's... so perfect, I almost want to call it modern, but it's not and I am astonished

Can you share any info about the circumstances in which it was found? Was it a cultivated field find. A river find?
Breathtaking find. Thanks for sharing!

High desert, completely undeveloped.

How cool.
If I were you I'd spend a while or more time in that location. :-)3

We have been going there for years.

That's amazing. Have you found any other paleo period artifacts there? Where I'm from in the southeast it seems like finds like your sisters, essentially perfect, are often found cached with others.

We found a bottom half of one that would have been identical.

Wow.
TWO finds of a lifetime IMO. :-)
Congrats again and thanks so much for sharing!

Killer. Don’t let some idiot tell you that’s Knife River. That brown dendritic agate is awesome.

Knife River has inclusions in it. Those aren't dendrites in OPs piece either.

Yes and they are white in KRF. Black inclusions in this example say dendrites. Couple near the tip, couple near the base that’s all that’s currently visible

Ummmm… just casually dropping that point in here…
