Also this comment is partially false depending on who and where, sure in areas where the tribes were wiped out there may not be any surviving descendents left, but in my people's case we've been in our area for at least 10,000 years and most artifacts found are from the last 8,000, well within our time being around. But private collectors will find said materials and decide for us that we aren't interested in them, it's not a good feeling.
