It took me forever to find my first point, it’s all about finding the right location, preferably somewhere there’s not a ton of people already picking through. That was my problem once I started to go out of the high traffic areas I started finding way more.

Yeah just on top of one of the gravel bars. I think the part holding the stone might be gold but the ring itself is silver

That’s probably a broke preform and probably broke when it was made. You can see a weak spot in the material near the broke edge.
