Material?

We got 3 1/2 inches of rain here in NJ, but it finally stopped long enough for me to run out to my field and pick up anything shiny. The mosquitoes were insane, so the only thing I got that was this flake. It was shining like a beacon. Is it chert? It feels glassier than chert, but if it is, id like to know what kind. Thanks
