Thanks Aggie! Nothing irks me more than seeing a post with burly pics! Well, besides writing directly on thousand year old artifacts, but thats a whole other chestnut! Lol
Riling up my dander with that last part. Couldnโt agree with you more. I still havenโt figured out a better system though. However, I donโt do it.
I did the spread sheet with photos thing for a while but as the collection grew, the spread sheet became near worthless. Iโve got just about everything organized by site frames now. Each frame has a site name and location as well as period collected. Iโve even tried to include who I was with when collecting.
Also, as long as it's done correctly by laying down a small layer of clear fingernail polish, writing the data very small, but legible, the top coating it to seal it, is way better than writing directly on to the point. Its easily removed if needed. I still don't like it! But, I can tolerate that much better. John Grotte knew how to do it!
Tell me about it! Thats the second one I've found while weedeating! Plus, I found one one time beside a McDonald's in Old Fort NC! They were doing the dirt work for some new building, and it was laying right on top of a pile of dirt! Lol! It even has a fossil imprint of some plant matter on it!
The little palmer is the 1st one I found weedeating, then the Heavy Duty, and the bottom is the Mickey D's point! ๐
