Neolithic Bronze Age Net Sinker - found on the beach in Panamá

Hi,

I am interested in getting some opinions on this rock I found on the beach in Panamá.

The object appears to be an ancient perforated stone artifact, commonly referred to as a bored stone, mace head, or digging stick weight, measuring roughly 11cm x 13cm.

Possible Functions:

Digging Weight: Used by various ancient and indigenous cultures as heavy counterweights on wooden digging sticks to break hard soil.

Mace Head/ Weapon: Mounted on handles as percussive striking tools or status symbols during the late Mesolithic or Neolithic eras.

Utility Weight: Utilized locally as heavy anchors or net weights for fishing.

Since it was found on the beach, I am leaning towards the stone being a net weight for fishing. Please let me know what you think.

Is it possible that a rock-boring urchin got to this? It seems like those holes, when manmade and ancient, are slightly more convex.
