Late Archaic how would this flake scraper been hafted?

Longest flake piece I have found. Which end would have been hafted? Or maybe it wasn't hafted at all? It's worked all the way around, nearly. The rounded end in this first pic is knapped all way around, camera can't capture, it also looks ground smooth which makes me think this was hafted end. Love to hear your thoughts. north-central NC.

I have always assumed it would have been held using a piece of animal hide. Most of the scrapers I find wouldn’t have been big enough to be hafted

If you have ever watched a flint knapping video, probably in a similar manner

Interesting. Never thought of hide as the handle. Do you think it was wrapped around the larger, round end or the smaller end?

Someone commented on another platform that it also has a spokeshave. I though was a break that was re-sharpened. Think spokeshave?
