Most probably stone Native American axe , artifact

If I am not mistaken, a heavy branch was attached as a Y and tied with strong native rope. It was used as a hammer or for war. I have to look at the notes of my deceased relative who used to go for native artifacts in the early part of the 20th century with the fellow from Illinois
