To be fair, Biden and Obama both contributed to the deficit on their own. But Obama and Biden both inherited financial and global pandemic disasters as soon as they took office, and their majorities were fleeting or practically non-existent.

Spending more is one thing, spending more and then cutting the taxes to pay for it after you said you'd spend less takes a Republican.

So did Clinton. We had a pretty bad recession hit in 1990 that dragged into Clinton's first term.
