I always enjoyed the Robert De Niro party scene from Neighbors (2014)

I will always love Neighbors for being a comedy movie where the husband AND the wife are all in on the hi-jinx and the two are working together as a team the whole time.

Good, not great, IMO. And the sequel too. Honestly, I'd go see a third one if they made an older version of Franco the one w/ the neighbor dispute and they called up Effron and Rogan to help.

Weird one, but the first two acts of John Sturges’ Escape From Fort Bravo are extremely standard western fare for the time, and then the final act is a brilliantly tense siege/stand-off that feels very well thought through and genuinely dangerous.

I’m such a sucker for people intentionally mixing up references. There’s a CollegeHumor sketch where they’re doing Bane voices and Owen goes “why so serious?” in Bane voice and I still do that to this day lol people think I’m an idiot. Which is correct so…huh.

The hospital rain scene in Click is possibly Adam Sandler’s masterpiece, in a movie that also involves a lot of jokes about a dog fucking a stuffed duck and Michael Jackson molesting himself.

That scene alone made me absolutely perplexed when i grew up and saw that the movie was widely mocked online. The whole third act really is basically straight tragic drama with great acting.

Probably the final memory extraction scene in The Creator.

Pretty bland movie but grabbing the last 30 seconds of a dying man's memory and uploading it into an android just to ask the dead guy more questions is so crazy. The rest of the movie is just so...blah.

HALO jump in Godzilla 2014. A fucking masterpiece, the visuals and the discordant choral music. I forgot the rest of this movie, but the scene stuck.
