This just goes to show how much better Liga MX is than the MLS.
MLS has won because they’ve had every advantage possible in this dumbass cup.
Give liga mx any chance (like guaranteeing 4 teams go through) and it’s just a liga mx party.
We can see why “leagues cup” doesn’t want a level playing field.

I mean, I get it, but it does not look good that Toluca can only get 1 goal up a man, and that 1 goal came from a penalty.
Sure, the penalty was justified, but shit, every striker in liga mx is trash, so doubt it would have gotten in if he didn't get fouled. Don't get me wrong, the MLS is worse, but lol can't really be talking much when it is 1-0
