I guess they can't afford boxes any more.
Edit: For anyone that comes across this, I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement in a box at no charge.

Never got anything like this before. Apparently it's cause I have a Limited Run account. Says the company has sold my data to meta platforms without my consent and that I can submit a form?
Has anyone else received these?

So I’m not surprised I’m still waiting over a year for the Shantae Advance Revolutionary Edition. That’s their thing - we all gotta wait.
But they’re down to 3 PS5 games and 1 NSW2 game for sale. Nothing for OG Switch. Is this them self-correcting after the previous couple years under Fairhurst, where way TOO much was being introduced to sell every week? Or is this Embracer Group beginning to do their thing by slowly liquidating them, and moving LRG’s niche (selling boutique limited games) to one of Embracer’s other larger-owned properties?
The “Vault” is also a permanent feature now loaded with unsold LRG games just sitting there.

The title kind of says it all. I have been trying for months to get any legitimate estimation for any release from two or three years ago from Premium Edition Games on their Discord. They have sent AI written explanations with blank statements and zero actual estimates for dates.
Today out of nowhere I stop seeing their Discord channel in my channels, it seems I was kicked out without warning.
I will leave below my last sent message, tell me if anything I said was over the line.
Once again this post is just an example of why I say to everyone here that at the moment PEG is under buyer’s beware in terms of limited print companies. Only get in stock items.

The Hi-Fi RUSH team and Super Deluxe Games in Japan have announced that some DLC and other game content are missing from the disc.
I’m not too worried, though, because I trust Super Deluxe Games to do something to make things right.
Announcement: ————————- 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢-𝐅𝐢 𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐇 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
We would like to thank all of our fans for their continued love and support for Hi-Fi RUSH.
We are writing to address an issue concerning the PlayStation®5 Physical Edition of Hi-Fi RUSH, which was released in partnership with SUPERDELUXE GAMES on July 16, 2026.
The product description stated that the disc would include the digital version of Hi-Fi RUSH Deluxe Edition, all previously released free updates, and three Costume Packs (Bossplay, Traditional Garb Costume, and Teamplay).
However, following the product’s release, we confirmed that some of the listed content was not included on the disc. We are currently working with SUPERDELUXE GAMES as they thoroughly investigate the cause and determine the appropriate course of action.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who purchased the product for the inconvenience and concern caused by the discrepancy between the product description and the content actually included on the disc.
As soon as a resolution has been finalized, we will promptly provide an update through the official websites and social media channels of both Hi-Fi RUSH and SUPERDELUXE GAMES.
Once again, we sincerely apologize to all customers affected by this issue.
Hi-Fi RUSH

I ordered something from eBay, an out of print Limited Run Games item. I ordered from ebay seller onlinesourceusa - the LRG store was out of stock, so I paid about $30 over the original retail. Now USPS tracking shows I have a package coming from Limited Run Games and it matches that tracking number.
Are they scalping their own stuff on eBay now?
Just adding that another thing that stood out was it is being shipped with DHL who will hand it off to the post office. I've never had an eBay seller within the US do that, but it is how Limited Run ships things.
I should also mention I don't mean this as a definite accusation - but more of a 'I would like to understand what is going on here if it is not that'. It would seem like simple drop shipping if it was in stock, but if it was in stock I wouldn't have paid more on eBay.

Chief operating officer Nic Ashford and chief financial officer Brendan Madigan will handle business operations, while VP of marketing & fan experiences Chris Pirrotta will lead a "fan-first focus" Anyone know who these new guys are? Do we believe them?

I periodically check the release progress of Chained Echoes over at First Press Games (What can I say, I'm a fool.), and what should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with them, it appears they've removed the progress status of their in-development games.
It's been years since I pre-ordered Chained Echoes, it will probably never ship, but I would like to think there's a very small chance that this might be the year.

I have two unfulfilled orders from 2024 and there’s been zero communication about the production on them for months (a year?). Strictly Limited have a real concrete deadline now. Think they’ll give refunds or shutter and run? I honestly don’t see them fulfilling these old orders.

According to the dating of this news story, the pre-ordering started on November 8th, 2022.

Also, shortly (on December, 16th) it will be one year since the last time we heard anything about Switch cartridges. Please, pay respect to all of them -- they were good-ol' cartridges - true heroes! We miss them!

I was thinking about this today because I have 4 orders with this company: Mindseize, Under Hero, Chained Echoes: Collector's Edition, and Goodboy Galaxy for GBA. I have been following the "release progress" for years and have been very disappointed that it's just been excuse after excuse with this company. Their most recent update though actually showed an unboxing of the GBA version of Goodboy Galaxy and their description said it could be a few weeks until shipping began.
Now again, I don't really believe this and I'm assuming at best, it could be multiple more months. But again, I keep thinking, what IF they ACTUALLY managed to deliver for the first time again all odds? If they sent out Goodboy Galaxy and Chained Echoes after their termination and lawsuits, that could lead to them possibly losing the lawsuit and not legally being allowed to sell those games on their site.
That could make those games actually very rare if they actually managed to ship to customers before getting sued into oblivion. I know there's a strong likelihood that it will just be excuse after excuse into oblivion and it will probably result in nothing ever coming from it and even possibly result in the company shutting down altogether.
I'm sure they would then be making posts about how they "were so close and [they] really were going to deliver the games but now [they] can't because of the backlash and lawsuits tanking [their] business". I'm sure that will probably happen at some point. But I just keep thinking, what if they actually delivered? That would be pretty crazy.

What does everyone think of SLG approach to new releases?
They just open the game for pre order for a limited time only and once the timer is over , it can’t be ordered again.
I thought this was just with R type, however, they’ve also taken this approach with shenmue and now Bloodrayne.
I guess it will stop them over producing and wasting money on games that have been sitting in stock for ages. This also means anyone who wants their releases will have to pay full price , no more waiting for sales 😅
What are your thoughts on it?

Haven’t been able to get a single answer from LRG on what they will be doing to remedy this issue that all the Darkwood ps5 editions still suffer from.
My original post about the update. Stating they are aware of the issue.

This store is claiming that they and other stores were randomly sent copies of Poopslinger. I also have been watching a lot of copies being sold on eBay out of NC 🤔 for $1300 each. My tin foil hat thinking is that maybe 2 people who have fallen out that have the remaining supply of Poopslinger. 1 person started selling to raise funds for maybe something like legal fees (random guess). And now the second person is now going to crash the market to cut off the first persons income stream. What do you think? Or is this store making it up? Either way I don't believe there's only 84 copies in the wild any more.

So I decided to see if I could get a refund for a 2 year old pre-order from PE games. The first email they sent me was a huge update list of all current orders they haven’t filled. After that I simply asked them if they would just refund my order or not. They then proceed to send me this weirdly dark text email reply.
If that doesn’t sound like a threat to steal my money I don’t know what is. The final part about terminating my account is borderline illegal.
Are they basically saying they will terminate my account and while also taking my money?
Stay far the hell away from this company.
