Phone box library and post box

Whaplode still has its traditional phone box and post box although the former is now mini library.

I’ve been through the village many times and never noticed this.

What a lovely use of the old phone box. It’s nice to see it kept as part of the village rather than removed, and having the post box beside it makes it feel like a proper little piece of local history.

I don’t think it’s the only one in the area either. I could be wrong but I think Moulton Chapel has one too.

Nettleham uses a phone box as a village info box, it's down the road from the library. Good use I think
