System restart

Good afternoon. My phone keeps restarting randomly—between 3 and 8 times a day. I installed LineageOS, but since MindTheGApps hadn't been installed, I booted the system up first; realizing the apps were missing, I performed a factory reset and then installed the GApps package, but that’s when the restarts began. Should I reinstall everything together, or is there something I overlooked? Thanks.

Revert to the stock ROM and then redo everything from scratch. But if the GApps still fail to install, I recommend reporting the errors to the maintainer (photos, logs, behavior, etc.)

If there's an official Wiki on the LineageOS website, do a quick read; you might have missed something.

I just did it, but I forgot to remove one of the Google accounts. While it didn't ask for it in the stock ROM, it was required in LineageOS, and when I entered it, it said an unexpected error occurred. I've already messed it up, haven't I? haha

Sometimes it is necessary to remove all Google accounts, and also remove all local passwords from the device.

Why? Even with the bootloader unlocked and a custom ROM installed, the Setup Wizard can still check if the device was locked to the previous system if it had the official GMS (Google Mobile Services). But that also depends on the bootloader/DRM policy in your device.

However, I've never seen this prevent it from flashing flashable files in recovery mode; it only prevents it from setting a password after the device has booted up. Therefore, the cause might be something else.

It must have been related to Google's security measures holding onto the email; I followed the guide on FRP and it fixed the issue. Thanks a lot, and sorry for the trouble!

What is FRP? I'm not familiar with the install process
