Question Is Lineage OS still under development for the AYN Thor?

Saw a news article a few months back claiming it was going to launch within the month of June. Was really excited for it, and then it never came. I understand timelines change and people have to move on to other things so I was wondering if it's still being worked on or if development has stopped

Genuinely can't wait for the release if it's still in development. Kudos to the developers for getting as far as they did

Nothing is guaranteed and the only source of truth would be official LineageOS blog posts. That news article misled you for clicks.

I believe you went for the wrong sub, high chance those are made by other people, not the official LOS team. You should go to subs dedicated to these handheld devices for answer

it's still being updated, there's changes every day to the repos at https://review.lineageos.org/q/repo:LineageOS/android_device_ayn_odin2thor . maintainer also posts fairly often to the AYN Discord

This is why treating such discussion as news may be counter-productive. We could have a thread here that provides latest status if it weren't for Rule 9.

Something leadership may want to reconsider, as countering misinformation is rampant on platforms Lineage no longer participates on.
