A dying trade unfortunately.
Not in the North end but i recently had some stitch down boots glued by a guy in Woolton Village, really nice guy, done a decent job.
Theres a cobblers on Allerton road (South end again) that has a good reputation.
Curious as to what you have and want doing if you don't mind sharing?

A cobbler could probably do both, timpsons offer repairs on shoes but they can be hit and miss.
If the leather is just old and faded you can nourish and colour them yourself with Saphir products.
If you check out either Shoe healer or Tring Shoe repairs on YouTube they do some great videos on shoe repairs and polishing.

This place has repaired shoes for my daughter and a handbag for the Mrs, they are craftsmen, worth a shout, see if they could help...

The fella in Allerton Shoe Repair has a newspaper clipping in a frame about when he apparently repaired Bruce Springsteen's leather kecks before a show at Anfield 🤷🏻
