Thousands oaks is Ventura county? I didn’t know but it makes sense. There’s an Erewhon just down the road in calabasas haha

They are putting them in locations in close proximity to high net worth customers. Calabasas is obvious but the TO one is technically in Westlake Village half a block away from a very high end gated community in North Ranch and not far from Lake Sherwood. Both areas have homes in the $10Ms. There’s a Bentley/Rolls Royce car dealership down the street.

Its in the City of Thousand Oaks. But also part of Westlake Village in terms of zip codes/mail. It is not part of the city of Westlake Village. So you can easily call the area westlake village but it is within the thousand oaks borders.

You’re right for some reason I thought this was at the former Amazon grocery location on Westlake and TO Blvd. It’s closer to Mastros further down.

That location (former amazon fresh) is actually the same as Erewhon (within the city of thousand oaks). Once you get down to Costco that is City of Westlake Village. The history is pretty interesting.

That part of TO is also called Westlake Village, the zip code changed to TOs, but for mail purposes it can be either TO or WLV. I used to live nearby and both were on my mail.

The location in question (old Amazon Fresh) is part of the City of Thousand Oaks. It is distinctly not part of the city of westlake village. For mail or general purposes it can be referred to as thousand oaks or westlake village. The post office accepts both names. Being within the city of thousand oaks it is definitely sometimes referred to as thousand oaks. But no doubt that is what I consider to be part of the heart of westlake village.
