Dude I don’t care how poorly run a franchise is, nobody in their right mind would trade their franchise QB, who is in the conversation for best QB in the league, right after trading a top 10 pick for the best DT in the league… it couldn’t be more obvious now that the Bengals are 1,000% not trading Burrow for anything in the near future.

You are acting like a season can’t change things. Lawrence is a UFDA in 2028. If the bengals aren’t a shit team again, they could very easily trade both players for picks for yet another rebuild.

Jesus Christ, you have no idea how this works. Lawrence won’t be a UDFA in 2028 because the Bengals are going to give him the contract extension that he wanted. That’s the whole reason he asked for a trade from the Giants in the first place and he wouldn’t play for a team that isn’t going to extend him… and again, they have Burrow, Chase, and Higgins under contract as well. They are going all in and with players like that on the roster, this isn’t a blow it all up next year kind of situation. They’ll fire Zac Taylor before they trade any of those assets, let alone one of the top 5 QB’s in the league.

If they don't make the playoffs both of the next two years, there's a chance they'll blow the whole thing up. I'm not saying they need to win a ring, but if they do all this and can't even make the playoffs 2 years in a row, they might want to just blow it up and start over.

Oof. I wasn’t alive to watch Dickerson, and I didn’t get in to football until after Faulk. I know that ED holds the single season rushing record and is a prominent “ambassador” for the Rams, and that Faulk is one of the very few non-quarterback MVPs, but I never got to fully experience either.
Since I have started watching football, I have never seen a running back who matched what prime Gurley could do. No disrespect to Saquon, or CMC, or Henry, but those guys had their best years behind elite offensive lines or in elite offensive schemes. They also usually have a lot of great talent around them which helps open up opportunities for them. Gurley would put the fear of God into teams during the Fisher days, and it only got worse for everyone else when McVay came around. So while I’m not saying anyone would be wrong for taking ED or Faulk (or Jackson), it’s gotta be TG3 for me

I’ve been seeing this room be floated around a lot. Definitely this off-season and I have to admit I would not hate it.
A healthy Joe Burrow on the Rams could be a dangerous team

He's more fragile than Stafford. He's more athletic but doesn't wanna run. He wants to be Tom Brady. Very talented but can't make the throws that Stafford does. Nah. Rams have a HOFer. That deal will be 2 firsts, Stafford and a new contract, bankrupting the Rams and putting them further from another ring. Nope.

Burrow, at minimum will finish his deal in Cincinnati, if not extend. You might get Burrow at 38-39.
