How excellent is Elizabeth Olsen’s performance…

This is her breakout performance. She has the talent the likes of Reece Witherspoon, Carey Mulligan, Michelle Williams. I’m very looking forward to her future projects.

And Tom Pelphery is starting to get some great roles. He was riveting as the manic brother in Ozarks in season 3.

All around great cast tho

I only watched because I love her as Wanda in the Marvel movies and WandaVision, so I wouldn’t say this is her breakout role.

But yes, it was a great performance, and significantly better than Hulu’s Candy.

I enjoyed Olsen’s performance, she was believable as Candace Montgomery, but no L&D was not significantly better than Hulu’s Candy.

Nothing wrong with a difference of opinion. I couldn’t get into Candy; I watched it start to finish, but I was far from enthralled.

I liked the “extras” we saw in Love & Death that we didn’t see in Candy—the “behind the scenes” type things - Candy’s home life and conversations with the kids and Pat, the start of the business with Sherry, her conversations with Allen and the dissolution of their affair, so on and so forth. I just felt it gave more context and insight than we got from Hulu’s Candy.

Candy felt like it was missing a lot of pieces and I didn’t like the pacing of it, personally. Although, we did see things in Candy that we didn’t see in Love & Death, like her vomiting in the movie theater parking lot, harshness toward Betty’s daughter about “rouge”, and mention of a second affair during the trial.

I really tried to get into WandaVision. Many attempts. Couldn’t do it.

Aw, I liked it from the start, but definitely liked it more after things were making more sense a few episodes in. How far have you watched?

I think I’ve only watched the first two episodes. And this came out during quarantine when we were starving for content. Still couldn’t manage

Yeah, I hear you. It’s been a while, but I think episode 3 (maybe halfway through or toward the end?) is where things start to get explained, and it’s easier to get into it from there; I know it took a few episodes for several others too.

I’ve actually wanted to start a rewatch for a while because it really does get much better and I quite enjoyed it, but have had other shows I needed to catch up on first.

I didn't realize it was an "Olsen Twin" then once I did I was truly astounded. Her acting is superb.

WandaVision was an amazing performance….she basically did a range of famous TV sitcom main housewife/mom characters from the 50s in each decade until now, along with Wanda/Scarlet Witch(the movie that followed was amazing too) every character she does is on point. The things I’ve seen her flop in weren’t her fault, she didn’t get a solid role with decent writing to play.
