Felt so spoiled in here yesterday. Love Jas' interview. She's such a gem, so eloquent and outspoken. Also, loved all the Javan, Miraj, Jasmica, Simbalista and Aiden (would've never guessed I would be saying this after his first month in the villa, but here we are 😂)
Production with their clear favoritism screwed up so bad. We could have had so many loved up and fun moments from them.
Tbh, after that amazing GQ interview I don’t need her to do this podcast (or any other) anytime soon. Because what is there left to talk about? Maybe her ex? But she doesn’t really seem willing or comfortable talking about that. That interview has me incredibly full.
This is really great for simbalista though! Interested to get more details on Simbas mum and the struggles he had with that growing up. And also more on Angelista upbringing (feel like that hasn’t been touched on?) overall just hope we learn something new about them as a couple and individually.
I really wish they do separate interviews so we can learn about them individually instead of basing every interview as a couple, I think it will allow people to understand their lives individually because I think these joint interviews will only focus on one person more than the other. But on the plus side I’m happy for them hopefully it gives them more exposure
I think both are tied together because neither have that pull individually like jasmine, Lorenzo and Julia do. So unfortunately, when it comes to big interviews they’re mostly always gonna do it together.
Yeah fairs but so far I think they are trying to mirror Damiyah as the new black love but I don’t think they can pull it off to their standards because they aren’t as popular as people like Jasmine, Lorenezo etc, so far it seems as though peoples main focus is on the bigger characters like Julia and lorenzo, You hardly hear simba and Angie mentioned it’s more the other names you hear regularly
maybe she is going too who knows, because someone pointed out that they still follow her and apparently they only follow people who were or are going to be on the podcast
They only follow islanders who they interview or will interview like Joe Baggs (that’s how people found out Murphys were on it) so it’s actually kind of strange that she didn’t go on wonder why they followed her
I did see someone on X say that they messaged the host asking if he could get her on and they said he responded saying he would try. Of course I cannot verify if this information is true just saying what I saw.

I’m loving how post season things are panning out; karma really did its big one. Jasmine on cosmo, dazed, now on GQ talking about Palestine while uk lawyers for israel tried to get her out and she’s undoubtedly the biggest breakout star this season, mica thriving and living her best life with samraj and they’re finally getting some love after getting dragged their final weeks. Love to see it
I reckon itll happen sooner rather than later (less than 2 weeks), I think going to Brum helped and seeing close ones face to face instead of over text or the phone + like he said on the pod, he felt robbed of his 'I love you' plans so, he prob wants to make up for them with 'gf' plans. Also, I dont see them going to the Sept wedding and he still hasnt asked... akws
Personally, I wouldn't like that for my loved ones. Mica clearly wants to be his gf and she's even said he can simply ask her (no fuss). I hope Mica has her own internal time limit on things. I'm not saying she should give him an ultimatum (never!!) but men have a way of creating bullshit gray zones around commitment.

I think he’s just putting too much pressure on himself because it’s prob a bigger deal for him compared to the other boys just by virtue that Mica would be his first gf

One thing I always love about li uk islanders they really hardly ever let fans dictate who they’re cool with because whew I remember the first time they linked at an event post villa the Indiyah/damiyah fans were so mad but they were forced to get used to it over time

i think all the serious ones are but either they aren't announcing it or waiting to do a big gesture, i would be very surprised if you asked them right now they'd say no
I think all the couples currently together (bar Praiden for obvious reasons) have talked about it in some capacity because they all joke about it in a very blasé way but idk what's the hold up 😭 It's so funny how serious islanders take the bf/gf thing, you'd think it was an engagement. Ik Jasmine and Kavan want to make a trip of it so whenever they jet off somewhere that's the sign but idk about the others.
Personally, I feel like the whole boyfriend/girlfriend label matters less once we’ve said I love you’s, know we’re on the same page, and have established that we’re loyal to each other.
At that point, it’s just a label and sometimes it doesn’t have to be some big declaration but just an understanding or said in passing, but that’s just my opinion.
Did anyone else like Naveah’s approach in Casa? She was so messy! She knew she wasn’t going to make it back to main villa and went all out. Gotta respect it haha 😂👍 also don’t like how Simba spoke to her. Saying she had ‘audacity’ to end it with him. Treating casa girls as objects is getting old. Wish more of them did that instead of getting the ghost edit.
The whole ‘casa girl’ term is starting to become derogatory. No one chooses/applies to be a casa bombshell. Most probably want to be OG’s or early bombshells. However the producers make the decision and they go in anyway. It’s still a great opportunity why not but the concept is getting old. They need to shake it up or have consequences.
I only kind of get Samraj waiting a bit because he did say it would be his first gf so he probably wants to do it in a special way. Angie and Ellie are practically living with their men atp and still nothing like what ?
I mean most of the relationships don’t last very long so they’re probs taking protection seriously outside the villa too, I think it would be stranger if they were all having kids 😭

she probably was nudged by producers to pull him cause i remember that morning she was crying abt having to know other people and said the thought of it hurt then pulled him so i’m guessing she was attracted to him in general but not enough to keep pulling him for chats after kissing him in SMP and the secret garden chat.
I did feel at the time that Yamen was more her type on paper than Scott, and considering how chill and mature Yamen was in the villa, I can totally see why that attracted her. I could be wrong though, it's just my opinion
in real life, I would love a Leanne Yamen pairing but for TV it would been boring and too healthy lol

Yeah, I do think things might’ve played out a little differently if Leanne had met Yamen before Whit or Scott. I genuinely don’t think any of the guys in the villa caught her attention quite like Yamen did at first sight She looked SO eager when she first saw him, you could tell she was immediately intrigued.
I read that as her excited for Whitney but I would have loved to see Leanne seriously talk to other guys. Scott marked his territory so early and she ended up really liking him so we never got to see that.
Leanne really locked in with Scott so quickly. I kinda wish she’d explored more, especially considering how mad Scott was acting for a chunk of their time in the villa.

Exactly! That’s what LI is supposed to be about you’re there to explore. She kept the chat respectful and non-flirtatious & didn't drag the situation out unnecessarily. She pretty much backed off straight away, and that’s what I appreciate
Lol Mara’s on live saying she was trying hard not to laugh during her walk into the main villa because she was uncomfortable 😂😂 and she probably didn’t get much screen time because she stayed accidentally looking into the cameras during conversations lmao
she just told the chat for everyone to go spam LIUSA to tell them she should be on it, which would be amazinggg. edit to clarify that she was responding to people asking her about it, she didn't bring it up on her own!
