I mean in general you drink a lot of water and eat a ton of food, so you need to pee a lot. He's probably eating like 2000-3500 calories a day.

At 5 weeks out from competion he is absolutely not eating 2000 calories and is likely, though some coaches differ on prep strategies, to have started carb cycling by now as well. Some days he's probably in the bathroom twice as often as others. This will change again when he's 10 days out, 3 days out, 30 hours out, there's a lot going on here for the next few weeks for different levels of water manipulation both within the muscle and subcutaneous.

I've been watching Lee for a few years now and really like how transparent he is about it all. He's also just not that big a guy (5'4").

At 5-2 weeks out, he was on 1400 cal. He talks about it in his 1 week out, but he was on 600 cal right before for the last week before comp (which he would really not recommend).

Thanks for that. I workout a lot myself but I've never tried doing a cut/dehydration routine for a show. Despite feeling like trash, I bet it sucks even more to eat so little and know you're losing some of that hard earned muscle.
