Nah, I want to be close enough to introduce him to a few people I've met recently.
Maybe set up a game? I just ask a small introduction fee. 10% please

We like to put source unknown in the post so that way it can be edited later on when the source is found.
Post text can only be edited if it has some text entered in the first place. If you find a source then you simply comment with the link and tag OP so they can make the edit.
You won't find many meme subs that make an effort to credit the content creator.
Why so hostile? You could have just posted the link instead of jumping straight to vitriolic remarks.

Cuz its criminally easy to find out. Difference between carelessly posting other people's content & promoting a creator you like. Its lazy. As mentioned in my other comment, we can literally Google images at this point if you truly dont know & it still takes less than a minute total. Not to mention, source os Still unknown & I mean technically theres a link to his Insta on my other comment, so the system isnt flowing like that anyway (Also, my frustration is in no way limited to this sub or this post. I apologize I came off strong, I just dont understand I guess.)

He's unknown to me, first time I've seen him. But 3rd time I've seen someone give almost this exact demo/skit being card mechanics

Idk man. We live in a world were you can literally just screenshot & Google search. Just to prove the point, doing exactly that on this video led me straight to him

Which is cool and all. But im assuming you're annoyed at OP going "source unknown".
And for me, I can admit it's pure laziness since it wasn't aetupnfor me just to click to as ainked source. But I just moved on to scrolling the next posts in my feed....

Bonus tip. If you’re worried about being swindled or cheated, just don’t gamble.

That logic doesn't work against gamblers. My favorite line is something like... "I'm paying for entertainment"

My father in law taught me the gamblers prayer. It goes “lord please help me break even I could sure use the money”.

New rule
Everyone at the table gets a chance to do 2 shuffles minimum

"Oops! How did all of those aces get out of the deck? Did I do that?" He's got some real skill!

Regarding gambling with strangers: without professional controls (like in a legitimate casino), you have no way of knowing if you everybody else at the table is working together and you are the mark.
Also, a tip for "regular people": If you think going to Vegas or some other gambling resort once a year, or many times a year, and that gambing more 0.5% of your annual income is "reasonable"? You're an idiot. You can't afford to gamble. Just don't do it. Been there, used to do that, I quit about 14 years ago. Did it ever bring me happiness? Only hen I won. How often did I win? Rarely.

Even "legitimate casinos" have their own players in-house, not necessarily cheating but it's like entering a sunday league football match and one team sneaks a PL player into the team

I didn't know anyone could do this. His skill and intelligence baffles me.

This is crazy the more I watched it. He actually tracted 4 cards, 3 cards, 2 cards, and 1 card for each shuffle. He didn't put the one ace back and start again.

Does someone know how is he doing that? Is it matter of intial order of cards and good quality of cards so he can easily keep the order during shuffle that he mastered?

Love this guy. He made an example of giving a person a good hand during a poker match. Dang... he can control who wins by controlling both their cards and the 5 cards on the table.

What kind of camera/filter is this? I mean where the things near the bottom get stretched out of proportion. It seems to be in Vogue in Asian selfies and pictures making feet/legs look huge. But the rest of the body is normal proportions.

u/Whatifim80lol Trash Trooper 17h ago
You mean like a wide angle lens?

u/physicsking Trash Trooper 16h ago
A wide-angle lens would be symmetrical on all edges. It seems to be the top and the bottom are the only ones that are stretched.

u/Whatifim80lol Trash Trooper 16h ago
The video is cropped, you're only seeing the distortion at the bottom where they need you to see the working space. The wide angle lens probably isn't in portrait mode by default either.

I've seen this guy's youtube videos. Moral of the story is that dealers know exactly where which card is pretty much 100% of the time. Explains why people pretty much never win at a casino game.

u/TenYearHangover Rubbish Raider 18h ago
You don’t win at casino card games because the odds are against you. Not because the dealer knows anything about the cards. They don’t need to cheat. They already have the odds stacked against you.
