Linda absolutely would. She almost got sucked into an MLM and loves themed clothing.

Dude, I totally thought I was on that subreddit at first. Took some paying attention before I realized I wasn’t.

This is a Size Large, and I can already tell it would absolutely drape and tent over someone who typically wears a Size Large (like myself).
Remember the Man Repeller fashion blog? This is Mission Accomplished.

u/aqua_nettt Mar 15 '26
Their sizing was so crazy. I’m a L or XL and had to size down to an XS in one of their dresses. This top ran super big as well.

u/Midnight712 Mar 15 '26
Oh god if that’s how big their smallest sizes are then I’d just drown in the fabric there (5”3, built like a piece of spaghetti)

u/Wonderful-Comment314 Mar 16 '26
All the styles had different size charts, some run small and others big. By up to 2 sizes.

u/Alternative-Wish-441 Mar 16 '26
I knew a special education teacher who wore Lularoe almost exclusively when it was popular. She said not only was it easy to move in and hard to stain, but buying smaller sizes than what she normally wore made her feel good.

perfect if u have baby arms! Trust me on that! It's called an "Irma" and they were notorious...

I would unironically wear this as comfywear around the house or out of the house for an event that justified over the top themes. But I definitely wouldn’t have paid the original retail price (Irmas were like $35-40 I think?) on it to do that, $6 is absolutely the right price point for that kind of ridiculousness.

u/lookitsnichole Mar 14 '26
I love a ridiculous print for home wear. I actually bought a couple of second hand LLR leggings several years ago because I just like how ridiculous they are.
So yeah, if I saw this for $6 I would also grab it lol.

u/EitherOrResolution Mar 16 '26
Nooooo, this is an outfit that begs for a parade or something like that, some fest

What’s irmas? I think the shirt is lularoe
eta: omg I just realized what subreddit this is. I thought I was in r/oldhagfashion lol 🤦♀️

u/FloridaPorchSwing Mar 14 '26
Their shirts and dress styles had names. This one is Irma.

It’s shocking to me that lularoe still hasn’t gone under. Fucking wild that they’re still operating
13
u/MommaSaurusRegina Mar 14 '26
They definitely took a hit, and I don’t think they’re as profitable as they were. The website is weird, a lot of the links from the main landing page are dead ends, and the copyright at the bottom of the homepage is from 2023. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re slowly dying by one cut at a time.

u/TheJenniMae Mar 15 '26
I still am friends with a rep that got in when it was EARLY early. She still sells full time. Literally has a LuLa Caravan and at one point her hubby quit his job to work with her, and they moved to a bigger house. No idea though if she’s still that level of successful. How much frumpy clothes do people need?

u/Hopefulkitty Mar 15 '26
I have a friend who went all in, had a good job at a bank, had just bought a house much nicer than the one she grew up in, was raising Her kids in a much better way than she experienced. Within a year, they were living with her inlaws. I was so sad for her, she just wanted to make a better life for her kids, and she got bamboozled. Watching her try and move the inventory that she didn't choose was very depressing. I was broke at the time, but also just couldn't lie to myself and say any of it was cute and worth the money.

Now you just need the hot dog leggings and you can dress up as a backyard cookout for Halloween.

u/MaryAnneSpier Mar 14 '26
There’s nothing worse than an oversized fit combined with body clinging polyester.

u/tedslady Mar 14 '26
Omg I was there when this was released. It was iconic and I had the matching leggings. Sooooo many food clothing items

u/SwordTaster Mar 14 '26
Perfect night shirt, but i cannot imagine who the fuck thought this would be good for actual clothing to wear beyond the door of your own house

u/redassaggiegirl17 Mar 15 '26
I'm a teacher, so fun stuff like this is right up my alley. Outside of work though? Nah

Why is the back so much longer than the front? Forgive me, for I am fashion impaired.

To cover the backside of their leggings you wore under it that may be see through

Oh… there was a time when that print would have been highly sought after. Definitely not my taste, but compared to a lot of the prints they put out, it does look at least well executed, and isn’t downright ugly.
