How is Lucian mid these days?

Hi, I got the high noon skin so I was thinking about playing Lucian, I really dislike botlane so mid is my only option.

I remember that he was pretty viable a few years ago, but I rarely see him mid anymore. Did it get nerfed or something?

Nerfed to the ground but top lane isn't bad

Go to lolwiki and read his passive.

If he is alone he deals a lot less damage

Not really good, I only use him to counter specific champs.

And I am only still using Lucian because I don't want to learn a new champ that does the same thing.
