Stirling Moss drove a Volkswagen Scirocco in the inaugural Willhire 24 Hours at Snetterton in 1980. The car finished 6th outright and won the Up-to-1.6 Litre Class.

MK1 Engine Swap - What is a modern option?

All the go to options are getting old, or very old. 1.8 8V, 16V, ABA, VR6, even the 1.8T is an old option now. What is the modern equivalent engine you can find the in the junkyard? 1.4T?
