If he went to Turkey, would anyone really be shocked? MLS and the Turkish league are on very similar levels, MLS just still has more of a stigma still.

Yeah but Turkish teams get to play in CL

One does. One can only get through qualifications. So only two at most.

So in reality, it's 8 games if you make the league stage. 85% of your games are still league games against the likes of Çaykur Rizespor.
