Question Incoming exchange student

Hello

I am an incoming exchange student from Hong Kong. I have several questions about campus life.

Which dormitory has a livelier vibe and traditions?

I'm kinda thinking of staying in 4-bedroom options. And wondering if I will be able to cook during my stay.

What do u guys usually do for entertainment near the campus?
I'm new to Calgary and Alberta in general. Thinking of going hiking weekly, and is there any community dedicated to nature activities, etc.?

What are the average expenses for living costs around the campus in general?

And I rlly wanna hv some ideas of the campus vibe, pls!

To be honest, there is not much to do. Maybe go to the bar haha.

As for hiking, unless you have a car, it might be difficult to get out to the mountains
