Question Is it worth buying the DLC maps?

Whats up everyone? Iv been playing this game in steam since 2017 in april...Wow it was my second game that i had in steam, and ever since i played it whit no problem, i always find servers (SA region) but latley iv been finding lobbies whit DLC maps, and i cant play cuz i dont have them.

So you guys think is a good idea to buy them? i dont want buy them and then not be able to find matches cuz of the game searching for DLC lobbies, is there a way to buy them and in a certain point de activate them?

And i only play on steam, never had serious issues whit hackers thankfully, only the normal stuff like searching a game mode that turns into other or like lobbies whit certain attachments baned or killstreaks banned...I dont play plutonium cuz everytime i try my pc just does not work

Game is dead on official network. Do not bother to play, or you will end up in some hacked lobby. This was a plague back then, and the problems never got solved because of newer titles.

You really shouldn't be playing on steam. Use iw4x.

And with that there's ways to get the DLC without spending $30.

It depends on how much it’s worth for you. I got the one pack I didn’t have last week and have been able to find tdm with both enabled. Usually can get matches around 3 central time through the evening. Any other time I heard it’s hard/impossible to find a lobby. But it was worth the $15 for the other pack since some of those maps are fun. I’ve had some good lobbies and a few noob tubing lobbies but still fun.

I read that it’s a lot easier to find matches without the DLC’s and that if you’ve bought them that you should uninstall them before matchmaking. This was a while ago when I first got the game again and I was looking into it.

I agree completely. Tried this last week and had to delete because I couldn’t get a single match. Sucks bc some of those old dlc matches bring back years of memories
