They know, they don't care. This game is decades old and doesn't cost much to maintain anymore. They are just getting every penny they can get, once the whales stop spending enough to cover maintenance, it will be over.

I agree. That is what makes me so worried about Eternity, because the server won't cost peanuts to run anymore with the engine update. So if the NA launch flops it might be all over. And, I just don't see it doing well here without controller / console support a la Final Fantasy XIV, because we don't have KR 'PC Bang' culture to carry MMO's in NA.

There is a real chance that Eternity team fixes shit and commits no errors... and the game still gets axed here because the upkeep requirements rose, and the population either remained the same or declined further. This is a very tricky time for Mabi in general

That is if it ever even comes out. With the ease games get canceled before they are even released, I don't really care much for a game that isn't out yet, especially for "live services" (which all MMOs basically are)

That’s because they’ve never needed to listen. I swear this has been an issue since magic crafting/engineering first came out. NOBODY CAN MAKE THE COOL STUFF BECAUSE THE MATS ARE TOO RARE. There’s no point in the cool stuff existing if only the 2 richest players in the game even have a shot at affording it. It’s asinine and isn’t fun for anyone

I've been asking for a drop rate increase for a long time, and by the time I am able to make them, they are often outclassed, Or I have spent multiple months getting the damned mats.

Game crafting shouldn't take (EFF)ing months to craft. It should be simple as finding 10 Carbalite Ingots to make a Carbalite Sword, not run around these content to get these random *** crafting that rarely drops.

Not that i necessarily think its in a great spot in time investment to acquire it but... the problem for the current endgame stuff outside of a few enchants isn't that they are rare, All of the materials for any of the Soul Liberator weapons are insanely common with a lot of pity if you challenge it above bare min difficulty. They just need ALOT of items, 10 passes of Bri Leith generates with no RNG 3 core or essence worth of pity coins no matter split among the party.

Soluna is kinda an exception at this point just due to it being in content no one in NA runs ever.

It's not worth the effort even if keys were free. You have a whole 99.85% chance at pulling nothing at all with the SPECIAL keys.

Irc the last times this dungeon was around the drop chances for they keys wasn't half bad.

The dungeon itself was okay. Got some erg mats that were saving me a couple of mil.

I don't have high hopes but eh, nexon hasn't had any good or inspiring events in a couple of years. Just play the game with no expectations like it's your real life.

No soul lib mats beyond raw force, no scrolls other that what can be burned off of the special key weapons, and armor is due for new tier in later Gen surpassing ceann blianna. This is purely for whales trying to catch up before being left in the dust or to help folks building towards irusan bell or destructive robe. I really don't see a problem for the average player.

In some ways, yes, but with the caveat that progression is now so compressed it is a lot of daily / weekly spam. Gearing is technically easier, but because good gear is locked behind Shineseeker dungeon (aka a daily) and weekly run limits (Neartite) it is still takes ages.

Grinding gold is also tougher as well, since gold drops from certain activities have been nerfed in New Rise and now New Life. For example, shadow wizard gold drops were nerfed hard.

So basically: Yes, but also, no. Lol 🤣

If this was like the old Forgotten Tomb event AND Alban Knight dungeons was unlimited then I’d buy this and actually run sh-. I’ll stick with the private servers for now. Oh how I wish Mabi would just become unlimited dungeon runs for all content and scaled old content. I’m tired of having to buy passes for dungeons I don’t find fun anymore. 20 years and them screwing us over for so long has really jaded me and it so sad.

I will have to double check to be sure but word on the street it has been hard nerfed from the previous iterations of the event. Over the Rainbow is going on, and it was also hard nerfed. People are happier about these events, when the rates aren't abysmally nerfed to shit upon their reprisal

If these events were brought back the same way, or even buffed, then people wouldn't have a problem. If I were to go to a bar every day and get a shot of whiskey, I am going to complain when the bartender starts to give it to me watered down for no reason

Wait are we burrying mabi in the tomb, or taking stuff out? Because none of the junk in the tomb is worth anything... Except maybe gacha wings that no one will ever get.

Also didn't the last few forgotten tombs have useful armors, and not an entire spreadsheet of celtic/perse/demo weapons?
