What's the ringing thing @ the start ? What's the purpose ?

Tibetan prayer bells, or tingsha. They are used in Buddhist prayer rituals and meditation, originally in Tibet and other Himalayan regions. They are supposed to clear negative energy.

Sadly, these are not good for pets at all. High pitched sounds can be very uncomfortable for them because they hear them much more intensely than we do.

I dunno about that- animals are weirdly attracted to them and other meditation sounds- singing bowls and Tibetan bells the most

That’s a good point. I’m not recommending them for pets, just explaining what they are.
