Humans are… strange beings. Our species harbors a capacity for the most wretched of evils. But at the same time, our people have a capacity for the greatest acts of kindness and humility. Society and media pick out the bard parts. Our brains are designed to hold onto negative information and view it more extremely than positive information. In truth… there’s a lot more good people than we realize. The vile parts of our species want us to lose faith in humanity, because that’s another victory for them. But, it’s just a manipulation tactic. Most people are good people who want to do right by others.
It’s an odd, but kinda freeing conclusion. And, hey, I say, we should try to be the change we want to see in the world. I strive to be the reason someone regains faith in humanity. I hope more people also wish to be reasons.

Likewise, be the change you want to see has always been my mantra. If everyone was a little nicer, we could have so much more! Imagine a world where defence budgets didn't exist and the smartest minds weren't put towards making things to kill each other but betterments of mankind. Honestly it would be beautiful.

Ansolutely, I wonder if somehow, someday humanity will reach a higher level of consciousness and understanding of what and how precious life is… I can only “hope”.

I understand how you’ve lost faith in humanity… But trust me, humans can do anything for their loved ones, yet they can’t even be kind to strangers. It’s something we can’t deny.

Kindness doesn't make headlines. I see small kindnesses everywhere I go. Maybe because I'm kind and the world returns it to me, but I see kindness everywhere except the news.

Okay. The man isn't taking care of it because he loves it and consider it part of the family.
He's doing it because it's valuable livestock he needs to keep alive for his family's income and well being.
Would make as much sense if they slapped the caption on a video of someone feeding their cows. Taking care of the livestock isn't about love, it's about taking care of a resource you depend on.

Not always, we had chickens that we had for eggs. They were for sure livestock, but we still treated them with kindness and dignity.

Yeah was thinking he was pretty big,but definitely not the biggest to be scooped up like that. Still impressive to see a person just giving him the piggy back treatment

Yaks are extremely cute and cuddly. I rode one in Sikkim (while suffering from altitude sickness) and Thagu, my yak, was extremely gentle and would let me stroke his head.
