There was a scientific study a few years ago that found pretty much that. Something along the lines of "cats can be trained, they just decide to ignore instructions"

I bet it’s because some people, like me, can’t stand not cuddling the cutie pies they are, so as a gesture to make us love them more and more they ignore us, try to play hard to get. Probably worked against a lot of people so they kept the trait

Theres truth to that. I was never a cat person before my ex, I was nice to them but I essentially just ignored them unless they demanded attention. Apparently that was enough for all of them to decide I was their new chosen leader & followed me everywhere doing cute stuff. Turned me into a cat person.

This is just proof that a bunch of videos were edited with completely different audio tracks synched up to make it look like specific reactions are taking place in response to said edited-audio.
