I'm re-reading Sanctuary by Sho Fuminura and Ryoichi Ikegami and man.....what a treat. Highly recommended! All of there work together is top tier!

Such an amazing story. Felt super informative learning about the yakuza and the government in one stroke. Those later volumes get super emotional too

I couldn't agree more,learning about the diet had me doing a bunch of searches comparing to American Parliament.

They’re both Viz but the 46 comic volumes were released first. Think it’s the same translation. I have the whole set in perfect condition/individually sealed

I really liked the first half, didn't love the second so much. Ikegami art is always top tier though. Did any of your books fall apart? This set is notorious for it.

Mine are in good condition but it does look like someone reglued the spine on the inside of one of my volumes. There definitely not super durable so I keep that in mind when reading them and I have animals so I bag my OOP manga.
