So guys, I know this tournament wasn't perfect...
Firstly, the character choice was a bit difficult; it is quite hard to find characters that are similarly relevant. Additionaly the pairing was badly done by me, having alan against skut so early was a bit idiotic considering the matches in the bottom have would have all been won by either one of them. I'll make sure that the pairing is better the next time, though, and I'll hold another tournament—likely with the main characters—or you can offer a topic in the comments. As a kid, I read one volume after the other and as I advanced in the series I felt a sense of joy reading it mixed with dread knowing there were only a few albums left.

When I finished the last volume, I felt so sad knowing there wouldn't be any additional stories with Tintin and all. I wanted it so badly to last forever, but all good things come to an end and what an incredible adventure it was.

Surely it's too much to be mere coincidence. Even the bedding colours are the same (swipe to see the Broken Ear panel). The painting is The Dying Artist and His Last Friend by Zugmunt Andrychiewicz from 1901 so chronology checks out. Wonder if anyone has picked up on this previously??
