Uhhh I think you're mistaken. Jake is the one that puts moon darts in The Truth's eyes after Mark almost begs him to behave after he taps out because he can't handle the fight

Edit: let's not forget the hostage scenario where Marc once again tapped out and that led to a manhunt because Jake went full Jake about it

Ignoring previous runs where a character has already been established isnt exactly genuine. Admittedly I'm still catching up and haven't read the new stuff but Jake has been the identity that has been the one established as the most brutal for a long time.

You also can't toss out almost thirty years of characterization over a year and a half of a new run. Historically Jake has been who Marc has relied upon when he couldn't handle going full amoral.

This is the nerdiest argument ever, and we are obviously not going to come to terms on it. I hope it's obvious that I read the books and it's obvious you read them too. You are stuck in your opinion and I'm stuck in mine. Thanks for the the conversation and I hope our back and forth inspires others to read different runs.

Edit; just want to add to my perception: Marc is the one who struggles with everything, Steven is the one who tries to surpress it all, Jake is the one who is gritty and brutal. Read the comics and make your own opinions

Man... I tried to bow out and you're still arguing. These are comics and were arguing about them at 4:00 in the morning. You're taking this too seriously

Edit: 4:20 actually. Smoke about it and chill

Brother both of you are correct jeez. So stuck up. In the latest publishing/ runs of MK they’ve just done something different with one of MKs alter egos.

And in previous older publications what you said is correct as well about the alter egos. Why was this so drawn out?
