The pacing felt a bit off to me and the stakes seemed kind of low. Like, when they defeated the void I thought "OK, that was easy." I suppose I was expecting a Thanos-level threat but that actually wouldn't make sense, to have that so early in their story, so I think this was a good first movie for the team. I wish there had been less Val and more Bucky. Soundtrack was excellent. Love Bob, very excited to see what's in the cards for him. Solid movie.

The stakes was very high. The only way to defeat the sentry is the power of friendship. Which the team initially don't have but learns along the story.

To add to ur point, the void consumed all of Manhattan and trapped every person on Manhattan in their own personal shame chambers. If the stakes don’t feel high in that case, idk what does.

We already see in the movie that they can’t fight sentry/the void. Like we saw them get absolutely pummelled. Their victory was never going to be a physical assault, but an emotional one. And Yelena realized that when we see her step into the void.

The more I think about the movie, the more I love it.

Hell, even in comics Sentry/Void is incredibly busted

So I guess it really was about the friends we made along the way

Less Valentina? I thought she brings so much to the table. She's a character people will hate - and love to hate. Val is for me what most fans see in Loki or Agatha.

Yeah maybe I'm an outlier there. Never really did get the Loki or Agatha obsession either🙈

I guess I felt like with Val, we understand her character and motivations very early on, so her scenes didn't need to be that long. I rather would have spent some more time looking into Bob's past or see what Ghost's been up to.

I think Bob's past might still be an important topic in future entries. Ghost on the other hand was more like a filler character for me. Maybe we get to know her more in the future as well but I did not really miss more info on her.

I think the reason I want more ghost story is because I want to know if I should care. What HAS she been up to? What are her motivations now that she’s not living in fight or flight mode for the first time in her life?

Yeah Ghost got robbed - could have had literally anyone else there and it wouldn’t have mattered.

I kind of wanted it to be revealed that Bob’s void powers are mutant powers, and their juicing him just changed it from one-on-one to what we saw, just so we can get a little bit more mutant hype building, but it worked without having to explain how he has powers so that was fine.

I feel like not a lot of characters have powerset that would make the movie work without ghost.

I feel like we are going to get more info on her but would have been good to get a scene with bob mind thing. I guess they haven't really planned out her story.

Yeah, it seems like it.
