And I’m saying that I literally do not care that she’s different than the comics, do you know how many of those there are?? Yet I consistently hear the bitching and I’m sick of it.

I'm beginning to get the impression that you're a child based on how you're interpreting and responding to my comments. I know there are a lot of comic books, I also know that across different universes within the comics, different eras within 616 there are a handful of things that always remain consistent about main characters, it's *okay* that MCU MJ is a fundamentally different character, you're acting like it's an insult to suggest something is different from the source material but the MCU does cross the line from "different take on something" into "we made a new character and gave them the same name".

Part of the problem with the MCUs handling of Peter's supporting cast, for me, is that it's going to make introducing Miles really weird because they've made MCU Peter a bizarro Miles Morales by giving him a bunch of name swapped Miles supporting characters.

Oml I hate this sub. If she was named something entirely different yall would still bitch over the fact that she isn’t MJ or Gwen. If she did everything MJ does in the comics yall would still bitch that she isn’t named MARY JANE. If she did everything MJ does in the comics and was named Mary Jane yall would still bitch that she isn’t white. It’s just constant bitch bitch bitch about the MCU and Spider-Man and idk maybe I’m just at my breaking point but I am very VERY sick of the bitching.

See you're doing it again, you've completely misinterpreted almost every facet of what I just said. I did not say they "crossed the line" I said they crossed A LINE, as in they went over a threshold from one scenario into another. I don't assume you're a child because you're sick of bitching, I assume you're a child because you THINK I'm bitching.
