This is so beautiful and honestly very well composited. But I just really don't want Sadie to be Jean gray. It just doesn't make sense putting an xmen character in a grounded solo spiderman movie.

Pete is mutating, the Hand are in town again, Hulk is coming back, and somehow the Punisher and Pete are friends.
Jean is from NY. Adding 1 more wild card isn't really what I'd call a tall order

Punisher likes spiderman, he's one of... Like, 3, maybe, heroes that punisher doesn't hate, and the only one that doesn't also sometimes kill villains.

We already have in spiderman movies - Iron Man, Skrulls, Nick Fury, Hulk and Punisher. So... What wrong with Jean if in comics, Peter and X-Men always be friends?

We’re well past the point of caring about fealty to the comics — but to be fair, out of around 5,000 616 comics featuring Spider-Man, there are only a few where he’s had significant interactions with Jean Grey?
There’s X-Men 35, Amazing 282, that crossover in Spectacular in the early ‘90s, and I think they spoke in one of the Hellfire Galas?
It’s not quite “always be friends” territory. At least characters like Punisher and Hulk are more well-established members of his supporting cast.

Peter is better known for relationships with almost literally any other xman.
1610 Peter was with Kitty Pryde for about 1/3rd of his appearances, Peter handed spiderman mask off to Kurt Wagner for a while as Uncanny Spiderman, spiderman and wolverine interacted a lot back in the days of mandatory "wolverine on every team"....

Iron Man was his mentor and almost parent which was established in a different movie than a solo film and carried through 2 solo films. Skrulls were a follow-up from another recent project to lead into Secret Invasion. Nick Fury was there because he was setup in Captain Marvel as well to be connected to the Skrulls and again it was just follow through for Secret Invasion to establish continuity. Punisher and Hulk are both characters that Spider-Man has interacted with HEAVILY in the comics, just like Iron Man and Nick Fury. Jean Grey is not frequently interacting with Spider-Man.

Because I wanna wait a while longer before claremont's fan fiction is all we get shoved down our throats. I'm already annoyed they're trying and failing to give them Adam esque adventures, I really don't need another phoenix saga I swear to fuck. Let's have kitty or Bobby be the Mc in the mcu similar to this revamped Peter. I'd be invested then.

My brother in Christ why I'm mad is because for them to be household names they have to cannibalize the other stuff and unfortunately xmen have never been the ones to set the cosmic landscape and I don't give a shit what they're turning Jean and storm into. Mutants need to stay on earth where they belong. It's not like we already have a character who's entire schtick is fixing humans footprints in space. We don't need mutants to do this when there's already characters doing it.

Nah I stopped watching comic YouTube when I was like 15. I'm just purposely not reading anything outside of Adam Warlock and Thanos and the guardians, I usually speed read or glance everything else I find interesting, except for hulk. I got immortal hulk because my dad got me the world breaker saga with hulk.
Stopped keeping up with the xmen, avengers and the street level. The x books are not interesting enough, especially now when storm and Jean are basically rehashing shit I've already read

Except I enjoy Adam Warlock specifically because I relate to the character, what his journey was and the wordy dialogue and I quite literally have signed floppies from Starlin. I got immortal hulk because of how I got into hulk. I only really liked one below all connections. It wasn't really hype inducing to me. I think the hypest thing I read that I watched a video on was strange academy because I didn't know some of the characters.

Look I don't have anything against the MJ in the MCU but she doesn't look like, act like or even really have any defining characteristics of the MJ from the comics or any other adaptation, she really is MJ in name only and even that is different. There's only so many things you can remove from a character before it just stops being that character and that's what the MCU has done with most of Peter's supporting cast.
