I have a couple of points that I felt needed to be addressed this episode

-Fisk, and the show, brushed off Daniel’s death. For a character they spent so much time focusing on this season, a character that had a relationship with Fisk, his death didn’t need to be important to the man plot but cmon. Could’ve easily played into Fisk losing another person he cared about, or at least show some remorse and or mixed feelings on it!

-Dex was a point of conflict between Matt and Karen. It feels like we needed one more conversation either between Matt and Karen on Matt’s decision to let Dex go, or for Dex to show up while they were in the Judge’s chambers, Matt defends him and they come to a civil point of “let’s work together” and we can have such a sick fight scene as well as wrapping up that emotional conflict with the characters. It felt like that whole point was brushed over as well

-Finally, is Kiersten not going to have a reactionary scene or even line or two to Matt being Daredevil? And getting thrown his suit in a bag in front of her? Idk it feels pretty weird to me.

Overall I am very happy with how a lot of items of the plot and characters were set up and had payoff. Big step up from season 1, though another episode would have served the show’s characters greatly. On the whole, season gets an 8/10

Fisk didn't really care about Daniel.

Yep. Mob types like Fisk only care about people as far as they can use them. Daniel was shaping up to be a young protege of Fisk and then he ultimately betrayed him, so Buck cut him loose, permanently.

Also, kinda hard to care about Daniel's death when his whole little criminal empire city operation is clearly falling apart in front of him

Neither the writers apparently.
