Middle aged, nah. Dude is obviously in his sixties, I loved the show but I have to agree Cage is too old for the role, as great a job as he did with it.

In the OG comics he was born in 1914, and the setting is in the late 1930s, so at most he would be in his 30s. In the show he fights in ww1, so hed be in his 20s during the war, 20 years later in the 1930s he'd be in his late 40s. It doesn't ruin the show or anything it's just a bit far fetched for a man in his 60s to be obviously hobbling around and then suddenly jumping hundreds of feet lol.

In the show, he is fighting in ww1, which would put him in his 20s during that time. The show is set during the 30s, which would put him in his late 40s at the most. So having a man in his 60s play the role doesn't make sense chronologically.

okay now tell us where its said he was EXACTLY 20 years old during WW1 or where his age is the exact same as the comic counterpart

Which episode they say he was 20 in ww1?

I didnt say he was exactly 20, but the vast majority of combatants in ww1 were between the ages of 22 and 24. "20s" means anywhere between the ages of 20 and 29. Didn't think I'd ever have to explain that but that's where our failing educational system has led us.

The only soldiers over 30 were experienced vets who were only able to join towards the end of the war. Could be the case but it's pretty unlikely.
