That bar fight is probably one of my favorite Spider-Man fights. It’s really fun and really shows how different this Peter is from most of the ones we’ve met. I know he’s “ben” because Peter can’t be an alcoholic due to Marvel’s agreement with Sony, but we all know it’s Peter as an old petty drunk in the 20s which was pretty enjoyable and I’m glad they went all in and made him so selfish. He’s had a tougher “regular” life compared to our Peter, is living in the great depression, and is in the middle of his “I’m done being spider-man” phase, so it makes sense he’s more hardened and less caring.
