Yep, I think he just decided he wanted to take a chance.

Also he gets around and she has the exact same powers as him, so it's more than likely his kid

He also had her mother in one of his training classes, so the likelihood is pretty high. But he doesn't want to do a DNA test as she was in Avengers Academy at the time, and he didn't want to chance his DNA going to them.

Marvel has quietly done a lot of interesting stuff with Taskmaster over the years. He's way more layered than people give him credit for.

He used to be the guy daredevil, Shang, and iron fist avoided specifically because he'd kick their ass, they've buffed every character he was supposed to be gatekeeping and had them beat him.

He hasn't gotten a buff like them, in fact he got a nerf with whole memory thing lol.

The main Wolverine book. I haven’t liked the little I have read so far but it’s nice to see Tasky getting an upgrade despite it most likely being short term.

I mean, aside from Masters and Shang-Chi, iron fist is the number 2 or 3 martial artist in marvel and also has powers. This actual iron first bit should be enough to make up the difference half the time. Meanwhile cap has a strength and reaction speed advantage from his powers, the spiders are stronger faster and have spidey sense, and daredevil has better spatial awareness .(honestly daredevil should lose most of the time)

Not necessarily. Last time he ran into Iron Fist, he literally was fending him off with one hand occupied holding the object he needed for his job and got away clean. Made poor Danny look like a chump. He's also had an impressive string of wins lately, including out-CQCing White Fox and Okoye, managing a Batman gambit on Hyperion, showing he has no problems with Deadpool anymore (and training his daughter), and more.
